When do we process your personal information?

Thunderful processes your personal information when you send us inquiries concerning our products. Or if you apply for a job within our organization, or for other reasons contact us through e-mail.

We also process information you provide in connection with any of our competitions or giveaways that you enter (including via our social media accounts).

Besides this, we and our third party advertising partners also use cookies to collect information about our visitors to ensure the functionality of our websites, for analytical purposes and for advertising purposes.

What kind of personal information do we process and why?

By default, we never ask for more personal information than we need.

For the most part, we process personal data we receive directly from you.

When you send us a question regarding our products or pitching your product to us you are required to give us your name and e-mail address and sometimes postal address, project details, company details, and phone number. We need to know this information so that we can reply to you. Our use of this information is in our legitimate interests to provide good customer services and maintain good business relationships.

If you sign up for our newsletter, we provide this to you on the basis of your consent. You can unsubscribe at anytime.

Winners of competitions and giveaways are asked to provide information to allow us to administer the prize (such as name and address). For data protection purposes this use is necessary for a contact we have with you.

If you apply for a job within our organization we may receive information concerning your qualifications and experience from recruitment agencies we work with and online profiles you have. We may also receive references from past employers. We use this information, in our legitimate interests to assess your suitability for the job you are applying for. With whom do we share your personal information?

By default, we don’t share your information with any third party. Sharing of your information may occur internally if the receiver of your question can’t answer it and needs to forward it to someone else within the organization or to the extent that we use third party service providers in our day to day business operations who may process the information as part of their services to us (such as data hosting).

To the extent competitions or giveaways are provided in collaboration with any partners, personal information may be shared with such partners as necessary to administer the competition or giveaway. Winners are announced to the general public via our social media accounts.

Or up to 12 months. Please note that in case a financial transaction takes place we will need to save your personal information for 7 years because of current book-keeping laws.
